We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Patient Care Assistant to join our night team to provide exceptional care and support to our animals. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the well-being and comfort of all animals under our care, working closely with the veterinary nursing team and vets.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care to animals during night shifts, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Communicate effectively with nursing staff, veterinarians, and other team members.
Work both independently and as part of a cohesive team to maintain efficient hospital operations.
Assist with the daily running of the hospital, including cleaning, feeding, monitoring, and other supportive tasks.
Assisting in the theatre and closing down theatre suites
Running blood tests in our well equipped Lab
Follow all health, safety, and welfare guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in Veterinary care is advantageous, though training will be provided for the right candidate.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Proven ability to work responsibly and independently during night shifts.
A genuine passion for animal welfare and a desire to learn and develop in a clinical setting.
