FAQ’s

Do you treat all pets, regardless of which practice they are registered with?

Cambridge Night Vets provides emergency care for pets from subscribing practices only.

What are your opening hours?

We operate out of hours, overnight and when your usual practice is closed at weekends and bank holidays. Your daytime practice or answerphone message will direct you to us if appropriate.

Will I speak to a vet when I call?

You will speak to a trained member of our clinical team, who can assess the situation and involve a vet immediately if needed.

Will my pet be seen straight away?

Pets are prioritised based on clinical urgency. All patients are triaged on arrival; the most unwell patients are seen first, but we will keep you informed at every stage.

How will my daytime vet know I’ve been to Cambridge Night Vets?

We send a full clinical update to your usual vet, including any treatment given and suggested ongoing plan.

How can I get in touch with the clinic?

If you’ve been directed to us by your vet, you’ll be given our out-of-hours contact number. Please call before travelling.

How do I raise a concern?

If you have any concerns about your experience, please contact us directly so we can address them promptly and openly.
