Our Patient Care Assistants are at the heart of everything we do. They’re the people who keep things moving on the wards — caring for our patients, supporting our nurses and vets, preparing equipment, and helping the hospital run smoothly day to day.
This is a hands-on, practical role in a busy, independent referral centre, where teamwork, kindness and common sense matter just as much as experience.

- You’ll care for a varied referral caseload, from new admissions through to recovery and discharge
- You’ll be part of a friendly, close-knit daytime team where everyone helps each other out

What we’re looking for
- Someone caring, reliable and proactive
- A strong team player with good communication skills
- Experience in animal care is preferred but not essential
- A genuine love of animals — and a willingness to muck in when needed
The practical bits
- Full-time role
- Monday to Friday, between 7.30am and 6.30pm
- 8-hour shifts
- 1:4 weekends
