Polly Monk

Polly started her veterinary career as a student vet nurse in 1999 and qualified in 2002.

She continued to work at the same general practice as head nurse for a further 6 years before moving on to Dick White Referrals, where she worked as a night ward nurse for a further 11 years.

During this time Polly has gained a level 3 hydrotherapy qualification and a VN Merit Award in canine and feline rehabilitation and physiotherapy.

Polly has a keen interest in nursing patients with neurological conditions, where she can use her physio knowledge during the recovery period for many of these patients.

Outside of work she enjoys going to festivals and gigs; she loves the great outdoors and can often be found horse riding or kayaking on a lake somewhere.

Polly has a German Shepherd Collie cross called Kimmy, a guinea pig called Pingu, and two totally crazy teenagers!
