Full-Time Procedure Technician
Location: Granta Veterinary Specialists, Photon House, Station Road, Linton, Cambs.
Hours: Full Time 40 hours per week plus share in our weekend rota

At Granta Veterinary Specialist we’re dedicated to providing the highest standard of surgical
and medical care to our animal patients. Our modern facilities include a fully equipped
surgical theatre, diagnostic imaging suite, and a passionate team committed to animal
welfare.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Procedure Technician to join our procedures team.
You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of theatre operations, supporting our
vets and nurses before, during, and after surgical procedures, assisting in medicine and
cardiology procedures also helping on occasions in our imaging department.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and theatre spaces
- Assist with patient preparation prior to surgery
- Maintain strict hygiene and infection control protocols
- Support stock control and equipment maintenance
- Assisting in medicine procedures including scopes, biopsies and other procedures
- Assisting our cardiologist
- Weekend rota will be based in wards
- Work collaboratively with the veterinary and nursing teams to ensure efficient
workflow and patient safety
About You:
- Previous experience in veterinary, training will be provided
- Understanding of aseptic technique and surgical procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Calm under pressure with a compassionate approach to animal care
